Alex Beekman is an Illustrator / Designer / Motion Graphics Artist
from New Yawk, NY 🍕 living in Montréal, QC ⚜️
Alex was born in New York and studied animation and design at Queens College and the Fashion Institute of Technology. After graduating he worked on the award-winning short "Yearbook" and has since spent years working in motion graphics, animation & illustration in Manhattan and Brooklyn.In 2020 he relocated to Montréal and has worked as Assistant Director of Photography on the video production of visual artist Claraence Painchaud.Additionally, he provided technical support for the artist collective Ecto during their residency aux Îles-de-la-Madeleine for the artist center AdMare.He is currently working full-time as Video Editor and Motion Graphics artist chez Winifred Creative.
